1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Doctor Buddy (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Doctor Buddy provides an AI-assisted health companion, optional video visits with licensed clinicians, and tools for managing personal and family health information. Features may vary by region and availability.

3. Not Emergency Care; Not Medical Advice

The Services, including AI responses, are for informational purposes and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Doctor Buddy is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for child profiles they create or manage.

5. Clinician Visits

Video visits are provided by independent licensed clinicians or partner networks. Clinical decisions are made by those professionals. Availability, wait times, and covered services are not guaranteed.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features may be offered as subscriptions through the Apple App Store or other platforms. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable store's terms in addition to these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or health information
  • Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Services
  • Upload content you do not have rights to share

8. Intellectual Property

Doctor Buddy and its logos, design, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes as permitted by these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCTOR BUDDY AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doctor Buddy and its officers, directors, employees, and partners from claims arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account subject to applicable retention rules.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction designated in the final counsel-approved version, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue and dispute resolution details will be specified prior to launch.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email where appropriate.
